Do you carry vintage clothing from certain time periods?
Vintage can mean different things to different people; the most common definition of vintage is clothing that is between 20 and 100 years old. We have chosen to focus our inventory on clothing that originates from the 1970s through Y2K era up to 2010.
Is your vintage clothing used?
Yes. By definition, vintage is clothing that is used, however, that is part of the appeal. Although you may find vintage-style clothing that has never been used, it is actually part of the fast-fashion industry that is creating low-quality, disposable items that are bad for our planet. With true vintage, you not only help to keep clothing out of landfills, but you also get quality pieces with a story.
What grade is your clothing?
When you buy from American Recycled Clothing, you can trust the quality of our inventory. All of the clothing we source and sell is considered Grade A, meaning that it has no major damage or imperfections. We do allow distressing that can add fashion value to certain items, but please understand that this is used clothing and the older items are the more tolerance we have.
Can I come to the warehouse to handpick my items?
Yes. We do allow visits to our warehouses, but because of COVID-19, you must first call to make an appointment. On-site visits are restricted to customers with a credible resale license and there is a $500 minimum purchase per appointment.
I’m just getting into selling vintage. Can ARC help my small retail store?
Yes! At ARC, we are open to working with businesses of all sizes and we have multiple wholesale options to suit your needs. If you’re just getting started, consider ordering our wholesale vintage starter pack. In it, you’ll get 25 of the best-selling items. What if I want to place a large bulk order?

Do you have a minimum order?
Many wholesale vintage clothing suppliers have a minimum purchase order. With American Recycled Clothing, however, you can order as little or as much as you like. When you order through our website you can order just one bundle (10 items total) if that’s all you need. The only minimum order quantity requirement we have is if you schedule an appointment to hand-pick your order at our warehouse. On-site visits require a $500 minimum order purchase.
How much do you charge for shipping?
Shipping charges will depend on the order and are based on your location and method of shipment. We are currently offering free shipping within the U.S. on all orders over $250.
Do you ship outside of the USA?
Yes! International shipping orders are processed within 48 hours of payment. However, the buyer is responsible for all international shipping taxes and duties.
Do you accept returns?
In general, returns will be considered on a case-by-case basis. We ask that you please notify us within 2 days of receiving your shipment if something is wrong or you are not satisfied with your purchase.
If I buy bundles online, how do I know what kind of items I’ll get?
Each bundle contains items that come in a variety of sizes and styles. Although you won’t know exactly what you’re getting until it arrives, keep in mind that all of our items are carefully hand-picked by our highly-trained curators. We’ve been in the wholesale vintage clothing business for a long time and our reputation depends on keeping our customers happy. That’s why when you buy from us, you’ll always get high-quality items that are in high demand.
